Mount View Sport Horses specialises in breeding and producing top quality warmblood horses. We import a large percentage of our breeding stock from Europe, always striving to improve our knowledge and the quality of our product. We have developed a deep passion for the Holsteiner horse. Most of the successful jumping horses around the world will have Holsteiner blood somewhere in their pedigree. Holsteiner’s have dominated the starting order of jumping at the World Equestrian Games and Olympics for many years and are considered the best jumping horses in the world.
At Mount View, we work closely with top breeder’s from Holland and Belgium and have a network of contacts in Europe, who we communicate closely with. Each year Mount View breeds a small number of potential champions. All horses are carefully raised, we make sure they are fed correctly, reared with an excellent standard of care and handled professionally. They are then broken in at the stud and schooled to a very high standard by our resident World Cup rider and other qualified staff.
Here at MVSH we stand behind our product. To do this we like to match a horse to a rider. We will provide an honest history of our horses. We want to ensure that each client finds the horse they are looking for. We are located just 2 hours from Auckland International Airport, and 20 minutes from Tauranga Airport. As part of our commitment to our potential clients we are happy to organise transport to and from airports. We have quality accommodation for clients on the property, and can arrange recreational activities in the Bay of Plenty area. We can also organise vet inspections for potential purchases and arrange shipping for international sales.
